Born and raised in Montgomery, Elizabeth earned her degree
from the University of Alabama. Elizabeth is the Community
Events Manager for Baptist Health. Liz’s passion for the ACS
mission grew even more when cancerous cells were found in
her younger sister’s keloids earlier this year. She had surgery
and chemotherapy treatments at UAB in March. Because of
the efforts of ACS, she was able to stay at ACS Hope Lodge
during her time after surgery and some of her treatments.
Elizabeth is participating in honor of her younger sister,
Angelle and every person that has fought or is still fighting
with cancer of any form.
For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Join us to help finish the fight.
